Breaking strength
This is to test the maximum tensile force that a single fiber can withstand when it is stretched in the forward direction, and the strength directly affects the tear strength and abrasion resistance of the cloth. When choosing raw materials, customers will also pay attention to the insufficient tear strength of too low cloth, which will also cause trouble. In the weaving process, it is also easier to break, generally set above 3.0 CN/dtex.
Elongation at break%
This is the test fiber, the proportion of residual stretch in the forward direction. Generally, for DTY, the low residual elongation degree selected by the process has better dyeability, higher strength and higher crimp rate. Low residual elongation, while too high residual elongation will produce DTY stiffness, decrease shrinkage, difficult to shape fabric dyeing and finishing, wrinkling and other adverse effects.
Curl Shrinkage
If the curl shrinkage rate is high, the DTY is relatively fluffy, and the cloth surface is rich, which can be adjusted by the texturing process. If the customer has special needs, please remind the production unit to pay attention. Generally, there is no specific requirement for this figure of DTY. The low elastic wire is less than 20%, and the network high elastic is about 30%.
Boiling water shrinkage
This test data is an important parameter for the subsequent weaving, dyeing and finishing. The boiling water shrinkage rate is simply the shrinkage rate of the yarn when it encounters hot water (high temperature 100°C). When it is too high, the warp direction is easy to short code, but when the cloth is set, the cloth surface will be better. When it is low, the shrinkage rate is insufficient, it is not easy to shape, it is easy to wrinkle, and the warp shrinkage is less.
OPU
The oil content ratio of the yarn, the main function of Oil is to reduce friction, anti-static, antibacterial, anti-oxidation... Too high, too low is not good, generally, 1.0% for warp, 1.5% for knitting, rapier, jacquard and other high tension The weaving machine type is preferably above 2.5%.
